How to get better at flags
Look at the details before the colours. Plenty of flags share red, white and blue, so the symbols decide it: the cedar of Lebanon, the maple leaf of Canada, the sun of Argentina and Uruguay.
Neighbours often share a design. Many Nordic flags use the same off-centre cross, and many West African flags use the same green, yellow and red. Learning them in groups like these is faster than one at a time.
